DOT Roadside Inspection Survival (8-Hour Course) - $350

This 4-hour workshop provides a practical breakdown of roadside inspections from an enforcement perspective, focusing on the vehicle equipment standards that are most commonly violated and how out-of-service (OOS) conditions are determined. This workshop highlights the key equipment areas inspectors pay attention to, including brakes, tires, lighting, coupling devices, and other critical components. This workshop is designed to help drivers, safety managers, and fleet personnel better understand what to look for before hitting the road—and how to avoid the types of issues that lead to citations, downtime, and increased liability. This is a focused workshop built to give you clarity on what inspectors are actually looking for—so you can identify issues early and keep your vehicles operating safely and legally.

You’ll gain a working understanding of driving limits, on-duty requirements, required breaks, and how to properly manage and interpret log records—without getting lost in unnecessary details. This workshop is designed to simplify HOS regulations and give you the clarity needed to stay compliant—whether operating interstate or within Texas.
