Overall, Santiago knows what he is talking about! Came into this class due to New Entrant Audit and was initially just going to do that course, but decided to take the DOT Compliance Manager Course and couldn’t be more thankful I decided to go that way. He keeps it very straightforward, every regulation straight from FMCSA policies. Made the information very plain and simple so that there was no way to misinterpret. I really like how he was able to provide example of documents that are needed so we as carriers understand exactly what is being asked of us. I left this course with so much new and clarified information that I believe will benefit our company in the long run if we want to stay active and under compliance. We learned of areas were we are falling short and what exactly we need to do to fix those issues. I am very much looking into perhaps buying the year round training to continue learning but also retaining the information.
